Here are some mini-rituals that may be of interest. These are related to the elements, working from most-to-least dense matter, as is the custom for training in the elements of manifestation. The little rituals are one way of becoming more aware of each individual element and your relationship to it. I hope others here will add some of their own favorites to share with us all.

EARTH: collect about 20 different pebbles from nature, of different colors & natural markings, or use purchased polished stones.

Sit on the grass if outside. Think of a question or subject of inquiry as you randomly select 13 of the 20 stones & toss them loosely like dice. Designate a special stone to represent you so you can interpret how the other stones fall in relationship to your significator. Interpret the layout by simple magical color association and relationship to other stones in the layout. Nearby stones indicate matters closest-in-time or of greater influence than far away stones.

Stone colors: green=prosperity matters, blue=health matters, yellow=communication matters, pink=affections, red=power, purple=spiritual & psychic matters, black=protection, white=guidance from Spirit, and natural markings or symbols on the stones are interpreted for what the symbol reminds you of. Give thanks to the Earth element when your reading is done.

WATER: Fill a clear glass with pure water, and place it either in moonlight with a quartz crystal for spiritual attunement; or sunlight with a piece of carnelian or other red stone for physical vitality. Visualize the celestial radiance filling you as you slowly drink the water. Then meditate. Give thanks to the element of Water when you are done.

FIRE: Light a red candle and sit comfortably before it. Spend time in reflection on your life. Give thanks for 3, 5, 8, or 13 reasons. 3 represent the Goddess, 5 is for the elements, 8 for the Sabbats, and 13 for the Esbats. You can speak your reasons aloud or in your heart, or make a list on colored paper using colored pens, pencils or crayons, and decorate or doodle, etc. if you choose and save the list. When you’re done, give thanks to the element of Fire.

AIR: Breath deeply and follow your breath to Center. Using prayer beads or a pile of 13 pebbles or acorns as counters, recite a favorite devotion once for each bead. Give thanks to the element of Air when done.

ETHER/SPIRIT: Meditate in contemplative communion upon the Divine alone. Immediately follow the meditation with a walk outside and seek the Divine Pattern all around you in nature. Extend this to seeking the Divine in others, or seeking the template of Divine Creation in works of art or hand-crafts. Seek the threads of Union in all-that-is. Give thanks to the element of Ether.
