Re: Crystal Healing

Hi, Hazel and Nick, Now you have my curiosity up. Are all shells just considered one kind of shell because of the Calcium or do different shells have different uses? Here in New York, down by South Street Seaport ( http://www.southstreetseaport.com/ ), we have stores that sell all manner of shells. ...

Re: Birds!

We have large flocks of Mute Swans down in Jamaica Bay but they are sort of the Lords and Ladies of the Bay and don't really commune with lesser beings like mortals. They sail majestically about the Bay and ignore everyone else. : c)

Brightest Blessings,

Jim

Re: Acupuncture

I don't know about acupuncture. I have a friend who swears by it, but only with one practitioner. Another practitioner, she says, did her no good at all. She hasn't tried it since. But many people accept Qi as a kind of unseen energy that moves through everything and can be manipulated and directed ...

Re: Celtic Animal Zodiac

The Sanctuary says it tries to release the animals that can make it back to the wild (http://www.sealsanctuary.co.uk/visitorsg.html). Kelticwytch, I hope that your seal found his home again.

Brightest Blessings,

Re: I Ching

I love the Book of Changes. I basically use the Wilhelm translation but I often consult Legge, which I believe, was the first English translation. There is a perfectly awful translation by Ritsema and Karcher but it has what amounts to a Glossary for every word of the Chinese, listing most of the po...

Re: Celtic Animal Zodiac

Wow, I'm a Crane and much of this seems to strike home (except maybe the "wisdom" part : ) But what really surprised me was the association with the Dragon. My Buddhist name, tho I never use it, is Shunryu, Spring Dragon. Go figure. Bright Blessings, Jim Once again, great pictures, Tylluan...
