Re: Imbolc 2015

There are no snowdrops over here, not yet anyway. When I was walking through the park near my home last thursday, on my way to do the weekly shopping, I saw the green leaves of what might become snowdrops or hyacinths pierce through the partly frozen soil. Re: Beltane 2014

Now I know why it looked so familiar: a few years ago I wrote a variation of this blessing in my prayer book! It's so nice to see it here again :D It's been many years since I read The Carmina Gadelica, I still keep a copy of it. It's such a beautiful collection of prayers and blessings, so vivid; r...

New Moon ritual

We are only two weeks away from another new mooncycle and I want to share this simple but effective new moon ritual with you. It has nothing to do with casting circles or calling the quarters, which has never been my energy. It's just a plain and simple ritual - almost a prayer. And that is what bei...

Also referred to as the High Cross, the Irish Cross and the Cross of Iona. The ring is considered a ...

Re: Book or loose leafed system?

As I think about it, my previous book testified first and foremost of my love for one special place in the world... Anyway, I 've started all over again and I have finally worked out how I'm going to organize my Book :D. I have decided to split up the material that should go into the book into 5 sub...

What are you doing for Imbolc this year?

What is everybody doing for Imbolc/Candlemas this year? I am using Rae's book 'The Hedge witch's way' as a guideline, with a small alteration here and there. Rae suggests 3 ways of celebrating: a middle earth, an underworld and an upperworld ritual. Middle earth: It seems that I have already started...
